My Little Pony Movie Adds Vanessa Hudgens, James Marsden & More As Voice Cast Members

The cast for Netflix’s new film My Little Pony: A New Generation has been revealed. Vanessa Hudgens will head the voice cast of the forthcoming animated film, according to the streaming service. Kimiko Glenn, James Marsden, Sofia Carson, Liza Koshy, Ken Jeong, Elizabeth Perkins, Jane Krakowski, Phil LaMarr, and Michael McKean will join Hudgens on the set.

Glenn will play Izzy Moonbow, Marsden will play Hitch Trailblazer, Carson will play Pipp Petals, Koshy will play Zipp Storm, Jeong will play Sprout, Perkins will play Phyllis, Krakowski will play Queen Haven, LaMarr will play Alphabittle, and McKean will play Argyle.


“I’m overjoyed to finally be able to inform you that I’ll be playing Sunny!” In a video, Hudgens stated.

Jeong announced his role as Sprout and released posters with the rest of the group as well.

My Little Pony: A New Generation will launch on Netflix on September 24. Hudgens is most recognised for her role as Gabriella Montez in the Disney Channel film series High School Musical. Tick, Tick… Boom!, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s forthcoming directorial debut, will also include her.
