The reason behind Leakes’ exit:
On September 27, 2020, during a Twitter fan exchange, Leakes’ went on to reveal the inside politics and claimed that the show “forced” her out. She even called Andy Cohen, a “racist master manipulator” and Wendy Williams an attention seeker and “cocaine head” when they discussed her exit on Watch What Happens Live, earlier in the week,

In a recent clip from Tamron Hall’s interview, Leakes’ addressed her exit and the reason behind leaving. Hall brought forward the allegations NeNe made of discrimination and being bullied at during her time with The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
A teary-eyed NeNe who had been crying since the commercial break, as also noted by Hall, replied that although she can’t reveal everything she wishes from the network, Bravo, one thing she strongly wants is a “fair treatment”.
