A glimpse of the movie:

The movie is set in a rural area of France and the story revolves around a woman who owns a farm. In the course of developing her farm, she starts to breed grasshoppers. She believes that grasshoppers will provide high protein to her crops.

And that’s where she developed some kind of obsessional bonding with the grasshoppers which turned the things around. She finds herself getting too attached to the Swarm of bugs who got the taste of human blood. After that things get messy and the whole situation turns into horrible circumstances.

Juliane Brahim is the leading French actor in the movie “The Swarm”.

Wild Bunch International was working on the sales of the movie and Netflix got a chance to acquire the rights from them just recently and luckily. The movie was even selected for the Cannes Critics’ week special 2020.
