Sad news for fans of “the Sun”! This Thursday, Netflix Latin America has confirmed that the popular series Luis Miguel will not return with a second season until next year.
On the other hand, the update (via Twitter) was accompanied by a charming video with the actor Diego Boneta, the protagonist of the show, who apparently has lost all his glamor during the quarantine.
The previous audiovisual, originally published on TikTok, echoes the glance released in January of this year. At that time, it was still presumed that the new installment Luis Miguel would reach the catalog of the red “N” in 2020.
We saw Boneta involved in character, inside a recording studio, while listening to two great hits from the singer: How is he? Possibly next to me and Mexico on the skin.
In the recent video, the Mexican histrion likewise lip syncs both songs, only now from his home kitchen.
First, dressed in jeans and a shirt, with a strainer as a microphone (“Day 1 in quarantine”); moments later, disheveled, with an apron and singing with a juicer (“Day 573 quarantine”).
To conclude, Boneta shows a small poster to announce that Luis Miguel season 2 will arrive in 2021.
Of course, there were reactions on Twitter regretting such a postponement. According to previous reports, the filming of the new episodes was to begin in February, but the health crisis came to put a stop to film and television productions around the world.
However, netizens who were happy to see the actor of Terminator: Hidden Fate as a game messenger also protested, despite such bitter news.
There were even those who expressed feeling equally enthusiastic about Luis Miguel and the Snyder Cut of The Justice League, which will be released by HBO Max next year.
Luis Miguel: The series premiered its first season on April 22, 2018. Its thirteen episodes can be seen through Netflix Latin America.
