The video game franchise, which was developed into a massive film industry project, is set to release another movie, Resident Evil:
The Infinite Darkness, in 2021. Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy will once again combat mysterious zombies. Capcom’s Hiroyuki Kobayashi is the producer as well as the supervisor of this CG animated series.
The streaming giant, Netflix, has acquired rights of streaming this series. The anime production studio, TMS Entertainment will handle the production. This is also a reflection of the fact that Netflix has always been fond of developing video game movies.
The teaser has revealed that Claire is on the pursuit of investigation of “chemical-obsessed horror”, whereas Leon is in the process of “rescuing an unknown man”.
