Idris Elba the well-known Hollywood actor and speaker is now all set to be seen in the Western drama, Concrete Cowboy upcoming on Netflix. The official release date for this new drama is set as April 2nd, 2021 on Netflix. One more thing making this new drama unique is featuring many exciting cast of actors from other popular shows.
As per Netflix confirmation, the upcoming Concrete Cowboy is based on the famous novel by Greg Neri, Ghetto Cowboy. This new western drama by Netflix Original is directed by Ricky Staub. Moreover, it’s Dan Walser, Staub both wrote the entire screenplay of the drama after featuring the and getting inspired by the real cowboys of Philadelphia.
The ultimate pause was made by Staub after performing much research on the Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club. From there he got to know about the Gerg Neri, Ghetto Cowboy novel and its mysteries.
Concrete Cowboy: Release date
As per the reports, the official release date is confirmed as the 2nd of April, 2021 for this new drama, Concrete Cowboy on Netflix.
However, at the Toronto International Flim Festival, the film has already made its theatrical debut. This Film Festival was held on September 13th, 2020. Later, in the same month, the distribution rights of the film were reserved by Netflix.
Concrete Cowboy: Plot
The entire storyline of the movie will focus on Cole, a fifteen-year-old boy. He moves from Detroit to North Philidelphia a place which is popular for their cowboys and horseriding. He took this decision to live with his estranged father. Later Cole himself found discovering North Philidelphia “World Of Urban Horseback Riding”.
