Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom is adapted from an award-winning play with the same name. The plot will take us back to 1927 Chicago and focuses on the exploitation of Black recording artists, issues of race, music, relationships, and much more. George C Wolfe serves as the director, whereas Ruben Santiago-Hudson has written the scripts.
Furthermore, Todd Black, Dany Wolf, as well as Denzel Washington servers as the producers of the upcoming flick.
