Comedy, American, television series Never Have I Ever got renewal for season 2 by the Netflix.
Never Have I Ever released on 27 April 2020 on Netflix. The series created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher the series consists of 10 episodes. The story based on an Indian American girl, high school student experiencing and dealing with the scenarios after her father’s death.
The series earned positive reviews from both critics and audiences. During the time lockdown, the series has become the most-watched series on Netflix. Especially after having a romantic end of season 1, fans are now desperate to see the storyline for season 2. Moreover, the series twitter accounts gave the green-lit for season 2, while having a video call on the zoom with their caste.
Also, creator Mindy tweeted on her account with excitement and announced the renewal for season 2. She added, “It’s all because you guys turned up to watch it and told your friends – it’s that simple! Thank you so much. And THANK YOU to our partners at Netflix.”
The series got a renewal on 1 July 2020. Reviews accretion of rotten tomatoes gave an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 and a 90% score from the audience. The series, labeled as it is a pivotal moment for South Asia Hollywood. The series couldn’t convince critics and audiences of South Asia. However, it got praised for breaking the stereotypes for Asians.
The series renewed for season 2, but looking up the current situation season 2 may come in spring 2021. Further, there is not much information that the entire cast will change. It would be a cliffhanger if this happens. So, let’s wait and watch for more insights.
