Nicola Coughlan of Bridgerton has assured fans that production has still not entered the second season.

Yesterday (March 15), a Tweet was released, which shows the Irish actress, Penelope Featherington, announced that the film is on the way in the Netflix phenomenon.

She writes, “Not yet! Not yet! Always to make wigs and dresses but soon!”

The confusion among fans mostly followed another post by Coughlan, Luke Newton, who took some images of himself, Luke Thomson and Jonathan Bailey as his bridgerton siblings to Instagram.

He captioned the post: “The boys are back in town #THROWBACK #SEASON1”.

He further added comments that said, The thing that’s so at the heart of Bridgerton is intimacy and identity and sexuality – and so, of course, that’s something we’re going to have to make sure we continue with. I think the expression of sex in this show is so important.”

The first series of episodes is about Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor), a young woman who lives in Regency-era England and has made false romance with a rich and wealthy Duke Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page) with hopes to escape the pressure of society.

In line with the traditions of several love stories before it, Bridgerton becomes a little more complicated as Daphne and Simon grow real feelings.
