One of Hollywood’s greatest actresses, Nicole Kidman admitted that she did not feel she was good enough to be a star at Notting Hill.

Anna Scott played the leading role in the film for Julia Roberts, who made it one of the most famous Roman comers of the time along with a star cast, including Hugh Grant, Rhys Ifans, Hugh Bonneville, and Emma Chambers.

The actress did admit that this was Marie Claire’s interview alongside Grant, who played Will Thacker, but she didn’t think she was known or skilled enough for it.

Nicole Kidman states that she is not enough for the role

In Notting Hill, Kidman, I wanted the part that Julia Roberts played. I’ve not been known enough, though, and I’ve never been talented enough. The actress who felt she was not talented enough for her role is surely different these days.

The Undoing, based on Jean HanffKorelitz’s novel You Should Know, that brings her together with Big Little Lies writer David E Kelley, currently stars at the thriller Grant.

The six-part drama views Kidman as influential psychiatrist Grace who, with her beloved husband (Grant), is on the brink of writing his first book.

His absence uncovers horrible and persistent disclosures about his marriage which threaten to ruin everything that Grace has created.

The Undoing will be premiering on the Sky Atlantic on 26 October in the United Kingdom.
