Welcome Back, Folks! The cover page of Norsemen appears like a serious story but, it is a Norwegian comedy story about a group of Vikings living in the village of Norheim around the year 790. Jon Iver Helgaker and Jonas Torgersen both write and direct the story. All the actors recorded each scene twice in two, different languages, Norwegian and English.
What about the Plot!
Basically, this show describes the day-to-day dilemmas and hilarious hijinks of Vikings. Frankly, it is quite difficult to imagine a plot of season 4 as season 3 doesn’t continue the story.
Instead of giving a glimpse at Jarl Varg, it acts as a prequel series to the first and second parts, and that’s why Season 3 also known as Season 0. There is no official plot is updated so maybe this time the second season will be continued and the unsolved topic of season 2 will be solved in season 4.
Release Date
The series is filmed in the village of Avaldsnes in Karmoy Municipality, Rogaland, Norway. It was first premiered in Norway under the name Vikingane on Norway channel NRK1 in October 2016. Norsemen’s first season was available in the English language on Netflix in August 2017 and Norsemen Season 2 was available in October 2018. Season three aired this year on 21 February 2020 and all three seasons consist of six episodes.
For season 4 we don’t have any official release date but according to the previous series, each series of Norsemen takes just over a year to be released. So, season 4 will reach us in the mid or end of the year 2021. To know more updated regarding the release date, just stay tuned!
