An all-star ensemble, including Line of Duty’s Martin Compston, stars in the new drama Our House, based on Louise Candlish’s best-selling novel. According to the synopsis, Our House is a “thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat.” As a series of truths are revealed, the events spiral out of control. A television version of the international hit Our House promises to be just as compelling.

According to Martin Compston, “I’m thrilled to be joining the cast of Our House in the character of Bram. As a result, I kept wondering right up until the very end. Their arrival on film excites me.” Check out our list of everything we know so far about the thriller!

Release Date

Although a release date has not been announced, Our House will air on ITV in the UK. Still no news on a US release.

Cast Members

Martin Compston (War and Peace, Shadowplay) and Tuppence Middleton (Downton Abbey) star as Fi and Bram, the estranged husband and wife. For the role of Toby, Rupert Penry-Jones (Whitechapel, The Last Weekend) was cast.

Rupert says of his role: “I’m thrilled to be playing the enigmatic Toby in this nail-biting thriller. Tuppence Middleton and Martin Compston are both incredibly gifted, which makes working with them all the more gratifying. As a TV thriller, this one is sure to surprise you.

Plotline

Her return home is met with astonishment when she discovers that strangers have taken up residence in her home. Seeing that she has lost all of her things, she feels that there has been a misunderstanding. Fi is horrified when she is unable to locate her divorced spouse and is left even more distraught. Fi begins to unravel her life as we witness glimpses of her and Bram together in the past.
