Outer Banks is an American action-mystery-drama tele-series on adventures of 4 teens on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.The selection of the cast is an effort of keeping the storyline intense for fans.

- Rudy Pankow as JJ (John’s best friend)
- Austin North as Topper (Sarah’s Ex)
- Charles Esten as Ward (Sarah’s Father)
- Drew Starkey as Rafe (Sarah’s older brother)
This cast will be carried forward with small alterations on plot to plot basis in Season 2 as well. The 1st season was aired on Netflix on April 15th, 2020 and created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke.
As there are no officialised updates on the second season yet. Due to the Pandemic, the whole team is putting up safe at respective places. And the creators are already voicing out that they are here for a long game, they are planning to make its 5-6 seasons, however, we can expect at least till season 4 by now.

John learns from his school’s office about his father’s intractability for 9 months and his uncle is listed as his secondary caretaker, but he is living out from the last 3 months. The Hurricane is on its way to the Island and hence DCS is unable to find him a foster home.
After the threat of Hurricane passes away, John with his 3 friends goes for fishing and finds a sunken ship on a sand bar. After some investigations, they get a key of Summer Winds Motel, which unlocks a safe having an envelope, a gun, and hundreds of dollars in cash.
In the second trip to the sunken ship, they found a bag with John’s father’s compass and eventually run into 2 armed men, while Kiera stops them somehow and the group survives and the story becomes more mysterious as it’s linked with the disappearance of John’s father and possible a treasure connected to the newfound Compass.
In episode ten of season 1, John and Sarah tried to escape on Phantom (JJ’s father’s boat) as a tropical storm strikes the place and they are considered to be dead but rescued by the fishermen. After the recovery, they are now planning how to recover the gold treasure.
Sadly there is no Season 2 trailer out yet, but as per behind-the-scenes picture and videos posted by the cast, it can be speculated that John and Sarah will be reaching the Bahamas, where they are going to hunt down the gold treasure and uncover the mystery of the disappearance of John’s father. In the meanwhile, it will be interesting to see John and Sarah’s friends to cope-up with the situation.
