The lead actor of the series has recently confirmed that the second installment of Panchayat Season 2. The first season was loved by many and the second season has been confirmed as a result of this praise. However, there hasn’t been any official announcement from the show’s makers. As of now it is pending but we are quite certain to hear about it soon.
The Panchayat series is based on the life of a city boy who is desperately in need of a job after completing his graduation. After a prolonged search, he finally settles for a low-salary job in a small village named Phulera. His life experiences are then told in the series in a comedic fashion. It is a comedy-drama TV series created by the Viral Fever and is now available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
It was announced in January 2020 by the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video and is beautifully shot in the state of Madhya Pradesh. At first, the series was released in just one language that is Hindi. But it received immense love and praise from the audience such that it had to be dubbed in two other languages, namely, Tamil and Telugu.
The story in the second season is expected to continue from where it stopped or we may also witness a new start to the characters in the series. The cast members are expected to reprise their roles in the upcoming installment and the series is expected to drop sometime in late 2021 or early 2022.
The number of episodes involved in the series is not yet been confirmed but it is highly likely that the second season would follow the footsteps of the first, which had a total of eight episodes.
