Columbia Broadcasting System has got access to rebrand the Paramount+ as it will help them in attracting the young generations.
In 2019 Viacom and CBS merger has happened after which they decided to relaunch their streaming services. In 2021 CBS will take action in rebranding Paramount+. They will try every possible change which can help them to attract more substantial customers.
In the presence of Netflix who has 193+ Million subscribers and Disney+ has 60.5+Million subscribers, it is hard to beat any of them. But CBS all access with its sister streaming option will try to reach 16 million subscribers before the end of this year.
Viacom CBS has already started with its preparation for the next year. They would provide their streaming services to Australia, Latin America, and other selected countries in the early next year.
ViacomCBS has done its survey on how customers take Paramount name and they got many positive responses which encouraged them to widen their area of streaming.
Paramount is mainly known for the movies and by the new year, it would have more content. Subscribers can expect more than 30,000 episodes and movies. It already has 20,000 content in Paramount.
CBS all access was launched in 2014, which provided access to the Paramount. They are currently offering many latest TV series to their subscribers which includes the Star Trek series, BET movies, and episodes, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures.
As per the new partnership between UEFA and NFL they will be able to stream live sports as well. Paramount+ will also show the original content like The offer, The Godfather, and many more.
Considering the competition world of Netflix, Amazon Prime video, it would be interesting to see if Paramount+ would be better than its previous version.
