During the AGBO Fantasy Football game, Paul Rudd trash-talked Robert Downey Jr. after changing some lyrics in the Iron Man song and converting it into a hilarious video. Every year, directors Joe and Anthony Russo host an AGBO Fantasy Football game for charity. The MCU stars partake in this event and support their teams.
This week, it was Downey’s team against Rudd’s team, and the Ant-Man star did not leave his chance to give it to Downey. We know where is his dedication to trash-talking is coming from.
Rudd has shared the screen with Downey in two films such as 2016’s Captain America Civil War and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. So Scott Lang never liked Tony Stark due to Hank Pym’s (Michael Douglass) ugly history with Howard Stark (John Slattery). But still, they set aside their rivalry and fought together to bring down Thanos in Endgame.
But now, the Iron Man and Ant-Man are back with their enmity! No, they are not competing in the Marvel film, but in the ongoing AGBO superhero fantasy football. Each MCU star competes with each other in the game.
When it was Downey and Rudd’s team’s turn, Rudd went all out on Downey. He tweaked the lyrics of the Iron Man’s song by Black Sabbath and also performed it by himself with his crew. You can watch the full produced music video below.
Rudd’s video is quite entertaining, but what makes it more impressive that he did this all alone during this Covid-19 pandemic. It is remarkable that he set up everything by himself and created a hilarious video.
And what more hilarious us that he played all members of the band. Every week, all actors create a small video to trash talk against their rival team before the match. But Rudd took this to another level and raised a bar high for other MCU actors.
At the end of the game, Rudd won the match against Downey. Currently, we have no idea who will face him next week. It looks like he can do this all week, and all the casts and his fans are looking forward to seeing what he dies next. After pulling off something like this, we are curious to know too that what has up his sleeve.
