Batman has been one of the most loved superheroes of all time. Epix network last year came up with a backstory of Bruce Wayne’s butler, Alfred Pennyworth which has a pretty good response from the audience.
Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon are the creators of this amazing show. It is the early life of Alfred Pennyworth and the backstory to his existence prior to his loyalty to the Knight of Gotham City.
Pennyworth 2 Storyline
The main storyline of the show revolves back in the 1960s, showing Alfred’s former life. It’s the time when he was an ex SAS soldier with his military background.
There’s a high possibility that season 2 will pick up from where it left in season 1. We can expect the unleashing of the Satanist Cult Leader mystery. We will surely be witnessing more of Alfred’s highs and lows, some new difficulties, and problems with new enemies, and how he comes out of it. Martha’s relationship with Thomas might be something that fans can look forward to.

As the audience loved the casting of the show, the main characters and actors will considerably be the same. Some recurring characters might not be seen or there could be some new ones, but the maximum will remain the same.

Pennyworth Season 2 Release Date
The season one which was released in July last year seemed to have been loved by the fans. The IMDb ratings are 8/10 further it’s 73% on Rotten Tomatoes which is incredible.
Keeping the success of season 1 in mind, in October last year, the season 2 for Pennyworth was officially announced. The season 2 filming had begun in early this year. Due to this pandemic, there might’ve been delays for the same, but we can expect it by the end of this year.
There hasn’t been any official announcement regarding the release of Pennyworth season 2. However, as the shooting had started early this year it will come out sometime near the end of 2020 or the latest by early 2021.
Cessation
The fans are already excited to watch what happens next and to see some mysteries revealed with the new season.
