It has finally been announced that Piers Morgan will exit Good Morning Britain by ITV following thousands of consecutive complaints to the UK’s broadcasting regulator over an episode that aired this week. Morgan recently criticized Prince Harry and Megan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey on ITV and therefore, faced a backlash as 41,000 people subsequently complained about the episode to Ofcom.
Now, his departure from GMB has been confirmed by ITV.
