On Monday, President Donald Trump paid tribute to members of the United States Army on Memorial Day.  Well, he also defended himself as usual as many people alleged him that he spent most of the weekend playing golf.

He also tweeted recently, “Some stories about the fact that in order to get outside and perhaps, even a little exercise, I played golf over the weekend.

The Fake & Totally Corrupt News makes it sound like a mortal sin – I knew this would happen!,”.  These people viewed that playing golf was not expected from the President as the death toll in the United States from COVID-19 was around 100,000 in the U.S.

The death toll has crossed 100,000 now as of now.  Interestingly before becoming president, he had repeatedly criticized his predecessor Barack Obama.

The present president especially criticized the former president at the time of the Ebola outbreak for playing golf.

As of now, The United States has more than 1.6 million infections.

The number is the highest in the world. However, the president and governors have decided to reopen the economy with social distancing guidelines. Almost all 50 states have begun the process.

Trump, a Republican is eligible for re-election in November. It seems, he is not in a mood to wait for a vaccine for reopening the economy.

Political experts viewed that he would try to pose himself as a strong leader who can recover from the devastating economic downturn to boost his time in the White House.

He has also seen his schedule in recent weeks. He visited Arlington National Cemetery on Monday for a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Vice President Mike Pence was also attended with the president. However, both of them and their wives did not wear masks.

Furthermore, military officers and staff also attended the ceremony without a mask. As usual, Trump has called on government officials to reopen their economy, urging Americans to continue the anti-crisis movement. He has been suggesting this for a month.
