This hit anime series garnered lots of fans, however, there hasn’t been any new season for years so is the show canceled or will we see a season 2? Let’s find out.
The animated series is based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Akira Hiramoto. The show is set in Hachimitsu Academy, one amongst strictest girls’ academies in Tokyo which decides to admit boys into the school starting from this year.
However, the draconian laws of the school for the boys make their life miserable as they are punished and locked school’s prison even for the most minor infractions. Moreover, there are only 5 male students among 1000 female students which makes the life of male students ever harder. The 1st season for the show aired from October to December 2015. So is there any chance of a Season 2. Let’s find out!
Release Date
The show hasn’t been canceled as of yet which is good news however, no confirmation has been given by J.C.Staff studio (the creators) about a second season. So we can’t say for sure when the next season will arrive however with the success of 1st Season we will probably see a Season 2. We will keep you updated.
Characters
We believe that the characters from season 1 will be returning for the next season and they include: Kiyoshi Fujino, Takehito Morokuzu, Shingo Wakamoto, Jōji Nezu, Reiji Andō, Mari Kurihara, and Meiko Shiraki. Apart from these, we may also see some more characters from season 1 back in the next season.
Plots And Twists
We saw in the 1st season that the plot of Underground Student Council was revealed to the chairman and it seems like they will be under fire now. We will see the members of the underground Student Council inside the prison as Aboveground Student Council gets to know about their plot and boys will get their freedom back. The next season will show how the underground Student Council deals with life in prison and how they make the boy’s life miserable again.
