Rachel Weisz: Daniel Craig’s Wife Is Shooting A Thriller Series


Oscar-winning British actress Rachel Weisz (50) is shooting for a thriller series as a producer and lead actress for Amazon Prime Video. The show is reportedly a psychological thriller named ‘Dead Ringers.”

The show is a reboot of the 1998 movie of the same name. It the previous edition, Jeremy Irons portrayed a double role on the screens of two psychotic twin brothers who are gynecologists. The movie was directed by David Cronenberg.

That’s what it’s about.

The television adaptation will most have a gender swap of characters with Rachel Weisz in the primary roles of two identical twins who are gynecologists. As reported, that storyline will differ slightly from the movie and take some dark turns revealing the dark side of the medicine and obsession.

Much noticed in the costume hit “The Favorite.”

Recently, Weisz hit the headlines for her role in ‘The Favorite’ alongside Olivia Colman and Emma Stone. She portrayed the character of a royal maid. The role pushed her to bag an Oscar nomination in 2019. Previously, the actress won an Oscar for Best Supporting Role in 2016 for her movie ‘The Eternal Gardener.’
