Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness Release Date, Cast And Plot – What We Know So

Resident Evil, the Capcom-owned video game was first released in 1996. After a long journey it is now 25 years since its arrival. The overall journey of 25 years includes a survival-horror game spawned with a total of 13 sequels, 3 animated movies, six feature-films, and novel series. Now, there is one more add-up in its list, the successful video game franchise looks all set to bring up an animated series very soon. The series is named as- Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness.

Last year in September 2020, the streaming platform Netflix announced it officially that they are focusing next to make Netflix a home of the 3D CG-animated series. 

Well, as per reports this news from Netflix just came after the platform officially confirmed that a live-action Resident Evil series named Infinite Darkness will be adapted very soon. 

Hiroyuki Kobayashi, supervisor for Capcom and a producer will be heading the animated series to reach the screens.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness [RELEASE DATE]

So far Netflix has confirmed only one thing that this animated series will be available at anytime this year, 2021. However, there’s no specific release date yet confirmed from the streaming platform.  

Well, there’s some good news from the franchise for all Resident Evil fans who are eagerly waiting for the series or news confirming something more about it. The franchise confirmed that the new Resident Evil: Village video game will be released this year in May, also the recently confirmed Resident Evil reboot movie looks all set to hit the theatres in September this year which means fans will get a lot of content from the franchise in 2021.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness [ CAST]

The upcoming Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness animated series will have a question- Who will be voicing the character not acting in it? Unfortunately, there’s no official confirmation revealing this.  However, looking back in its previous release Leon S. Kennedy the star character of the Netflix series and also a fan favourite, and all the three previously released series are expected to arrive in Infinite Darkness too. Apart from this Matthew Mercer, the famous voice actor who previously voiced in both Damnation and Vendetta looks all set to voice Leon in the upcoming arrival.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness [PLOT] 

Nothing can be expected in an animated series, thus the storyline of this new series is yet not confirmed. However, a short teaser was released last year in September, but it doesn’t hint out much about the plot.
