One of the best Netflix Originals of 2019, Russian Doll, a4 comedy-drama series has been confirmed for a second season which was due to start filming at the end of March 2020. The production of the series has been postponed due to the global pandemic.

Russian Doll is a Netflix Original comedy-drama series created by Natasha Lyonne, Amy Poehler, and Leslye Headland who are also the executive producers alongside Dave Becky, Lilly Burns Allison Silverman, etc.
Since the show’s debut on Netflix on February 1st, 2019, the show has won many awards including Television Critics Association Awards, and has also been nominated for five Emmys.

Inspired by the likes of Groundhog Day, Nadia’s best friend throws her a birthday party, but she dies in an accident after being hit by a car and somehow ends up in the bathroom of the party she was attending. She is stuck in a time loop and begins to question her own sanity as she can’t seem to escape the time loop.
Season 1 of the show aired in February 2019 and the second season was scheduled to film in March 2020, which is now delayed.
No reports are claiming on when the production of Season 2 will begin yet. However, we are certain that as the IMDb rating of the show is 7.9, the fans are eagerly waiting for more updates on the show!
