The Seven Deadly Sins, another Japanese manga series Nakaba Suzuki. The series was first released in October 2014 on MBA and Japan News Network. It is an anime based on the fantasy manga series of the same name.
The story of The Seven Deadly Sins illustrates the tale of Elizabeth. She is the third princess of the Kingdom of Liones. She is the one who is in search of a group of former Holy Knights known as the Seven Deadly Sins who were disbanded after the kingdom was overthrown.
She along with the help of Meliodas and Hawk who are the leaders of the Seven Deadly Sins and the leader of the order of scraps disposal help her to assemble the remaining associates of the Seven Deadly Sins and bring them back to the kingdom from the Holy Knights.
So far 3 seasons have been released for The Seven Deadly Sins and the good news is that the show has already received a green signal for its fourth season. The Original date of release was in the month of July although we expect that there might be certain delays to it and the release may be shifted to another date. Likely towards the later part of the year or may be early next year. The likely delay is caused due to the global pandemic of Corona virus also referred as Covid 19.
With respect to the cast of the series, it is expected that majority of the cast would be repeated from the previous season. Previous season included Yuki as Zeldris, Maaya as Merlin Kaji, Suzuki Tatsuhisa as Ban Kaji, Yuki as Meliodas Sugita, Tomokazu as Escanor Fukuyama, Misaki as HawkYuuki, Jun as KingKuno, Yuuhei as Lowther Amamiya, Sora as Liones and Aoi as DianeTakagi Elizabeth Sakamoto.
With all the of the above repeat characters, we are expecting some more new characters that might get added to the story. Regarding the cancellation of the series, we too heard certain rumours making rounds in the circuit. However we have no official news regarding the same. But what we can assure you is that looking at the popularity of the series, the show won’t get cancelled.
