Asa Butterfield, star of Sex Education, has taken umbrage with people recording him out on the town without his consent. Season 3 of Netflix’s Sex Education has just debuted, and it’s already proving to be a huge hit.

As Moordale High gets a new headmistress, our favorite characters will have new love interests, and there will be plenty of fresh drama for everyone. Not to mention, after the season 2 finale’s deleted voicemail cliffhanger, we finally learn if Otis and Maeve end up together. Otis (Asa Butterfield) has grown weary of the way fans approach him after each new season of Sex Education.

Before dawn on Sunday morning, Asa sent the following message on his own Twitter account “I’m sick and tired of having my night out filmed and photographed without my permission. It truly has a negative impact on my mood and sleep “shows this quite well. That was confirmed by him saying in another tweet, “Tweeting this while driving home after smashing numerous phones out of my face tonight,” that he had to do that.

Many individuals complimented Asa for raising awareness to the fact that celebrities are people, too, and should be treated as such. In response to Asa’s tweet, a fan said on Twitter moments later: “Being a celebrity brings it to light. Deal with it or find another employment” and Asa sarcastically replied: “Wow I had no idea, thank you for educating me.”

In the meanwhile, it goes without saying that if you see an A-lister out and about, be sure to treat them with the same respect you would any other stranger.
