The series is running for quite a time on the Showtime network and in fact, is the longest-running show on the network. Now the last and final season has got its release date revealed. THE DATE
Showtime has declared as 6th December 2020 as the official release date of season 11. The season 11 of the show was originally planned to release in the summers of 2020, but due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic, things had to be altered a bit. The previous season of the show came in January of this year and got an amazing viewership of 5.7 million viewers across various platforms. The season 11 stars William H.
Macy in the lead role. Others in the cast are Jeremy Allen White, Ethan Cutkosky, Shanola Hampton, Steve Howey, Emma Kenney, Cameron Monaghan, Christian Isaiah, Noel Fisher, and Kate Miner. The plot of this finale season focuses on the fight between the Gallagher family and the South Side.
Added to this fight is the angle of COVID 19, aging, and gentrification. Created by Paul Abbott, the series has so far completed 10 seasons comprising 122 episodes. The first season came way back in 2011 on the Showtime network.
Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of season 11 of the show and are super curious to know what has caused the fight between the Gallagher family and the South Side. The fans are also a bit sad because this season 11 will be the final season of the show. All great things come to an end eventually and the fans will have to just live with this fact.
