Everybody is quite aware of the most skeptical music show judge Simon Cowell. Well, the audience as well UK’s most popular show, Britain’s Got Talent was missing him in his absenteeism. He was absent from the screens in the UK because of his back injury which happened due to him falling off his electric bike at his house in Malibu last year in August. It was announced previously that the most watched show, Britain’s Got Talent, will not be held this year in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic and the diversity star Ashley Banjo filling in for Simon Cowell but Simon did return for the America’s Got Talent panel later this year.
Speaking of his return to the new music game show. The head of entertainment at ITV, Katie Rawcliffe said, “It’s great to be continuing our working relationship with Simon and I look forward to introducing this edge-of-your-seat musical game show to viewers later in the year.”
Simon Cowell, the mogul of talent shows, is finally returning to the UK’s music game show after a long break. Cowell is the lead judge at the panel of judges in this musical game show. This six-part series is going to debut on ITV and later this year it will come on ITV Hub. The show will see solo, duo, bands and choirs participating and performing in the game. The show is offering various musical acts and also a chance to win a prize pot, but to win the money they have to go through some crazy things which the show is offering. The performances will lead to either cash out the prize money or to risk it all to ‘Walk The Line’ and play on.
Simon Cowell said during the interview, “I am thrilled to be working with Lifted Entertainment and ITV on this new project. We wanted to develop a show which will give the contestants a life-changing cash prize if they win.” He added, “Each show there will be a champion who must make a vital decision: either cash out then and there or stay in the contest to compete again the following night and have a chance to claim the huge prize. It’s the kind of decision that will have viewers on the edge of their seats – real event TV. I’m very excited at giving musical talent the opportunity to transform their lives like never before.”
The main goal is, the longer the performers can stay in the contest, the bigger the prize pot!
