Guys, were you not missing mystery for a very long time? I was.
I was really looking for some mysterious updates which I could share with you.
And so, Netflix, the God Web platform has heard my prayer, and here is the news in a nutshell.
Sherlock Holmes, the immortal icon of the world’s mystery literature is being brought back to life in a live-action form in the upcoming Netflix’s spin-off series ‘The irregulars.’And fans cannot wait for it.
The Oscar-nominee writer, Tom Bidwell’s creation with a team of directors Johnny Kenton and Weronika Tofilska, this series is all set to hit our halls by mid-2021. It can be expected sooner says Netflix.
The delay is mainly because of the halt in production twice, first, back in 2019 end due to a cast member’s injury, and second, in March 2020 due to the Corona Virus outbreak.
The story is all about a group of street kids who are assisting Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson in their investigation. The director says that it has been his age-old dream which is getting shape now and he is extremely grateful to Netflix for being so supportive.
Set in Victorian London, the story is an original work based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s characters.
The roles of the iconic Baker street duo will be played by Henry-Llyod Hughes and Royce Pierson. Aidan McArdle will portray Inspector Lestrade. The irregulars will be portrayed by Thaddea Graham, Darci Shaw, McKell David, and Jojo Macari.
After hearing this exciting piece, we really cannot hold out-breath for these eight episodes the first season of the adventure series.
