South Park is one of the longest running animated TV series of all time (it has been running since 1997). It has been with us through all the difficulties we have faced as a humanity with its dark and sarcastic humour. And this global coronavirus pandemic is no different.

The show is a must watch with a whopping score of 8.7/10 on IMDb and 81% average audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. You can watch the trailer of the show here-

The show usually follows the life of the four boys- Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick. This season we will find out if they will be going back to school after the long pause due to quarantine. We see the kids planning to not go back to school and the family having their usual arguments.

Fans have mentioned that “Matt and Trey (the creators of the show who voice most of the characters) don’t even need to come up with ideas, 2020 is practically one long season of South Park already” and it couldn’t be phrased better. South Park has got a pandemic special as well. This is almost an hour long exploring their lives as they adjust to the “new normal”. Even as a little girl, I was fascinated by words. The idea of stringing words together to form meaningful sentences which could alter the emotions of other human beings excited me. At first I wrote fiction. It gave me a chance to live the different lives I’ve always wanted to. The way my friends reacted when they read my story gave me the greatest of joys. As I grew older, I realised that there are thousands of stories of people around me that deserved to be told. Then I started incorporating their stories to my fictional stories. Over the time, I leaned more towards article writing. I have always felt that writing is my super power. A power I could wield to bring joy and comfort to me and the people I care about.
