Just five days before the Love Island finale, Mary Bedford and Aaron Simpson were evicted from the Villa on Wednesday night (August 18). However, a new Casa Amor bombshell landed on the island on Day 29.
As soon as Mary entered Casa Amor, Toby’s head was turned. This was even though he had just been paired up with Abi, who had decided to stay with Toby. “I was in the worst circumstance,” Mary said of her difficult entrance into Villa.”
Mary recalled that Abi was not mentioned in Casa. So Abi would be with someone else, Toby and I would be fine, and then I realised, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m in the worst circumstance possible.’
Mary described Toby as “the kindest person ever!” She went on to say: “He’s always been one of my closest pals. Aside from being hilarious and compassionate, he’s the biggest joker there. He is the nicest person I’ve ever met.”
In addition, Mary expressed her gratitude for Toby’s honesty and his decision to return to Chloe with Chloe but said she wouldn’t have been as understanding had Toby returned to Abi.
“If he’d selected Abi, I’d have been furious because I’d have felt like I’d been cheated,” she explained. “But for Chloe, I replied to him. I can’t compare to Chloe. You’ve been doing this for two weeks – which then in there feels like two months – I’m just glad you informed me now so I can move on before any emotions are connected.”
On August 23, Chloe and Toby, Millie and Liam, Liberty and Jake, Faye and Teddy, and Kaz and Tyler will compete in this year’s Love Island final. It airs on ITV2 and can be watched on ITV Hub. BritBox subscribers can watch episodes the next morning.
