Discovery is an American web television series which was launched in 2017, it is the first scripted series developed specifically for that service.
It comes under the genre of action, adventure, and science fiction. Star Trek: Discovery was premiered on September 19, 2017, at ArcLight Hollywood.
The first season consists of 15 episodes among which 9 were released in September and 6 of them were released in the month of January. It is based on the Star Trek by Gene Roddenberry.
The series was phenomenal and did a great job with both the seasons.
It was also nominated for several categories and won numerous awards some of which are Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, TV Land Pop Culture Award’ NAACP Image Award for TV Programs that have Improved the Presentation of Negroes, Saturn Award for Best Retro Television Series on DVD and many more.

Sonequa Martin-Green plays the role of Michael Burnham who is a female science specialist on Discovery. Doug Jones, Shazad Latif, Anthony Rapp, Mary Wiseman Wilson Cruz, and Jason Isaacs are the other cast members for the first season whereas Anson Mount is for the second, and lastly David Ajala for the third season.
The story basically revolves around when the Klingon houses come together for a war with the United Federation of planets that consists of members of the USS discovery. This happens in the first season.
In the second season, the war ends and the Discovery proceeds to investigate the seven unknown signals and a symbol which is known as the” Red Angel” and this comes to an end when they travel 900 years ahead in the future that is the 32nd century. Now let’s know more about season 3.

After the two amazing seasons, Star Trek is returning with its 3rd season in this year itself. The second season was released in the year 2019 and the third is dropping at the end of this year which is 2020.
This season will have 13 fresh and amazing episodes for us. In a few months, we might see the trailer also.
