Star Trek: Discovery is an American TV series which is a seventh series in the Star Trek franchise. The discovery series shows the events before the original Star Trek series. The fourth season of the series is soon going to be released as it was officially announced on October 16, 2020 that another season will come. Due to Covid 19, there were a lot of restrictions on the shoot which was a big reason in delaying the release.
Talking about the cast of the show, Sonequa Martin Green plays the role of Michael Burnham who is a specialist on the USS discovery and gets promoted to captain by the end of third season.
Doug Jones is also in the series playing the role of Saru who is a first officer and also gets promoted to captain in the third season.
Shazad Latif plays the character of Voq who is an albino Klingon and is undergoing surgery to look like Ash Taylor, the chief of security for the discovery.
Other than those characters like Anthony Rapp as Paul Stamets, Mary Wiseman as Sylvia Tilly, Jason Isaacs as Gabriel Lorca, Wilson Cruz as Hugh Culber and Anson Mount as Christopher Pike.
WHERE TO WATCH
If you are interested in watching the new upcoming season of Star Trek, it will be available to watch on CBS access in the USA. Though, by the time the series releases, the CBS will be renamed as Paramount Plus. For countries other than the USA, it will be available on Netflix.
Though there have been no trailers released for the series so far, we are expecting it to be released by late 2020 or by early 2021.
