Yes, today, we are glad to announce some quick updates about a famous Mike McMahan creation, the adult American web television animated comedy the ‘Star Trek: Lower Decks’.
An expansion of the Star Trek franchise from the production house of Alex Kurtzman, it is the first animated series created for All Access, and it the next series after the 1973-74 series Star Trek: The Animated series.
The main concern of the viewers is the identity of the alien Arex. Well, there are a number of answers to this. The first is that in the books of Alan Dean Foster Star Trek Logs, Arex is called a Loan.
Later in the New Frontier Universe, a Peter David creation a distinction was made between a species called Edosians and Triexians. These species were closely related but not exactly the same.
Some sources identify Arex as an Edosian, a corroboration by the mobile roleplaying game Star Trek Timelines. Back in 1974, Lincoln Enterprises in a publicity material released that Arex was an Edosian. And some episodes of the show do make an on-screen mention of this species.
The first season of this series premiered on 6th August 2020 for a ten-episode run and managed to gain immense popularity. So much so forth that the production announced the shoot for a second season.
