The series gained momentum and received favourable reviews. A lot of appreciation came in for the visual presentation and graphics of the series. Viewers appreciated the storyline despite the story staring at a slow pace. The series may cast the same members from season 1 besides the ones who got killed towards the end of the series. This would mean Tom Hardy will be seen returning in his role as James Delaney. Besides him, we shall see Leo Bill as Benjamin, Jessie Buckley as Lorna, and Oona Chaplin as Zilpha.
Another cast that may get repeated includes Stephen Graham as Atticus, Jefferson Hall as Thorne, David Hayman as Brace, and Edward Hogg as Michael. News faces Franka Potente and Michael Kelly too might get roped in for the new season. The makers have not released any official dates regarding the release of season 2. However, with the way things are moving due to the global pandemic COVID 19, in all likelihood, the series getting premiered this year is very low. We expect the series to be released somewhere in 2021.
