Cuties is a Netflix film directed by Maimouna Doucoure that revolves around the story of a teenage girl Amy, played by Fathia Youssouf, who is attracted to a dance group called CUTIES and further she decides to join the group. Her entire family is observant and traditional but she is captivated by the new culture of glamorous internet and has torn apart from her family cultivates.
The movie has been investigated online since the news of its premiere on Netflix. Promoting Cuties as not suitable for children, a file of the petition was raised which has gathered over 20000 signs.
It is also said that the movie has not used appropriate artwork while the promotion because the girls were wearing crop tops and booty shorts. The matter increased saying that the girls were making sexy dance poses.
But neither everyone is same nor everyone’s thinking is same. Tessa Thompson, Avengers star, defended the movie declaring it as a beautiful film and she also said that it was very disappointing for her to see the counterblasts it has faced.

Tessa defended the film by posting a tweet on her reviews on her Instagram handle which stated that CUTIES is a beautiful film. It establishes a fresh voice at the tiller.
She also said that it disemboweled and disappointed her. She added that she understands the response of viewers but it was not relatable to the movie that she saw.
