Shows That Deserve More Love

It’s easy to get lost in the endless ads and other buzz in the media about the few popular shows that make it into the streaming platforms. Sometimes we limit ourselves to only the mainstream shows and miss the opportunity to watch amazing shows that are worth binging.

Here we’ve curated a list of shows that may not have a huge fan following yet, but deserve one.

Peaky Blinders (#1)

This show is so underrated! It’s a genius crime show set in Victorian England follows Thomas Shelby played by Cilian Murphy, who wants to get well off. The show has morally gray characters so we can’t really choose sides.

We would earn for the Shelby empire to grow while also wanting him to get caught by the police. The show has released five seasons so far and two more seasons are yet to come.

The Carrie Diaries (#3)

The show revolves around the highschool life of Carrie Bradshaw, the one from the famous romantic comedy sitcom Sex and the City. The show got a score of 7/10 on IMDb and 83% on Rotten Tomatoes. The young Carrie is played by AnnaSophia Robb based on the novel series of the same name.

iZombie (#4)

Live Moore, played by Rose Mclever, is a zombie medical resident who took a job in the mortuary to satisfy her need to eat the human brains. But soon she realises that she absorbs the person’s memory when she eats their brain. As gruesome as this might seem, it’s a pretty great show. It has a score of 7.9/10 on IMDb and 90% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Even as a little girl, I was fascinated by words. The idea of stringing words together to form meaningful sentences which could alter the emotions of other human beings excited me. At first I wrote fiction. It gave me a chance to live the different lives I’ve always wanted to. The way my friends reacted when they read my story gave me the greatest of joys. As I grew older, I realised that there are thousands of stories of people around me that deserved to be told. Then I started incorporating their stories to my fictional stories. Over the time, I leaned more towards article writing. I have always felt that writing is my super power. A power I could wield to bring joy and comfort to me and the people I care about.
