The Connors will return to ABC later this month for the fourth season. The show began as a spinoff of Roseanne, which was dropped by the network after a scandal involving actress Roseanne Barr. Then, for Season 3 of Matt Williams’ Emmy-winning comedy series, Noel Fisher joined the cast as Little Ed Jr. Season 3 of The Conners has been a big success for ABC, with a 50 percent audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Season four of The Connors will debut its first episode, “Trucking Live in Front of a Fully Vaccinated Studio Audience,” on ABC on September 22. The network first announced the show’s renewal on May 14, 2021. At the time, Deadline reported that the third season of the television show was ABC’s #1 comedy show, with 4.7 million total viewers. Months later, on August 26, viewers of the show received their first glimpse of the upcoming episodes through a YouTube promo.

Who will be casting?

While fans wait to see if Noel Fisher will return for Season 4, a number of other cast members, including John Goodman, who portrays the popular Dan Conner, Laurie Metcalf, who plays Jackie Harris, and Sara Gilbert, who plays Darlene Conner-Healy, will most likely appear in the new episodes. The cast also includes Lecy Goranson, Michael Fishman, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara, Jayden Rey, Maya Lynne Robinson, and Jay R. Ferguson.

What to expect from the storyline?

Season 4 will begin with a live performance for the first episode, according to Deadline, which was revealed at the end of August. In that episode, a Conner family member will choose two winners from their “You Can Be A Conner” sweepstakes, one from the East Coast and one from the West Coast.
