The Crown season 4 is the upcoming historical drama web television sequel series to the franchise of The Crown based on the rule of Queen Elizabeth II which is written and created by Peter Morgan and produced by Left Bank Pictures and Sony Pictures TV for Netflix.

In season 4, the year will be of the late 1970s to 1990s, where there is the marriage ceremony of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer including the premiership of Margaret Thatcher.
However, there will be a love triangle starting in one of the episodes between Prince Charles, his future fiancé Camilla Shand and her boyfriend Andrew Parker. There are chances of showing the assassination attempt of the Queen where the assassinator shot six bullets at the Queen while trooping of the color ceremony. The official date of release is not announced by the production unit of The Crown franchise. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, the release date may not be announced but the rumors and sources believes that season 4 of The Crown TV series will be released in November or December 2020 because every series release after nearly one year of the gap. So, as usual, fans might meet their expectations and satisfy their eagerness to watch season 4 in this year only.
