A new film by Alexandra Daddario, Die in Gunfight, and it’s giving us elegant Romeo and Juliet vibes, was the first trailer for the Viking star Travis Fimmel and American Horrors Story.
AHS: Hotel Actress Daddario as Mary alongside Terminator: Dark Fate and Scream Queens, actor Diego Boneta as Ben, characterised by studio Lionsgate as “a visually spectacular film that combines action, humour and heart.”
The star-crossed “blue sheep” pair is made up in a centuries-long “blood feud” of two strong families, the Gibbons and the Rathcarts.
After years in their forbidden love, Mary and Ben re-ignite “an immediate scandal” affair, and cause a dangerous collision as the two opposing families “fly fucked.”
Events turn when Mary’s dad tells Ben he’s going to offer the pair his blessings to be together provided he helps him take care of an “issue.” But things become nasty when Mary and Ben go off together.
The trailer promises a few thrilling transitions of style and includes several drawn films of a humorous style throughout the video, as Ben explains that his life is a film. But can this love story come to an end with so much violence?
Collin Schiffli is the Director of Die in a Gunfight, and the Wasp writer Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari are the directors of All Creatures.
It also stars Justin Chatwin and Emmanuelle Chriqui, the shameless actor, with Billy Crudup, the Zack Snyder Justice League actor. Die in a gunfight in the US on 16 July will be released in films and on request. There is still no release date for the UK.
