A bonus scene was shared in the recently-aired second episode of The Flash which confirmed Cavanagh’s return to the series despite his death and showed us how imminent the return will be. This is because the original Harrison Wells (Cavanagh) was reformed at the grave by a multiverse particle where he was initially buried by Eobard Thawne.
Gustin then reacted to this mind-boggling twist and said that he had an inkling that the real Harrison Wells would emerge at some point in this season.
