The Mandalorian Season 2 All Information About Official Announcements and Storyline


After the much successful Disney’s Star Wars Show that was released on 12th November 2019; the show which created a stir and was immensely appreciated by the viewers is back with its Season 2. The show in its Season one gained a massive and faithful fan base which was anxiously awaiting more to be presented to them. 

And here’s the good news, creator Jon Favreau has confirmed that the show is all set to be released in October 2020. He made it further clear that the show is doing its final rounds and will be premiered on Disney + Hotstar despite some delays caused due to the ongoing Pandemic. In fact, the fans have another big reason to cheer. The pre-production for Season 3 has also started on the April 2020. The Mandalorian Series is the first live-action series of the Star Wars Franchise. 

Besides the Executive Producer of the show, Jon Favreau is also the Head Writer of the series. Other producers of the show include Dave Filoni (popularly known for his work in Avatar), Kathleen Kennedy (President of the Lucasfilm), and Colin Wilson (popularly known for his work  in War of the Worlds and Jurassic Park)

The storyline of the series as per the finale of Season 1 hints that The Mandalorian Season 2 will revolve around the search of the Baby Yoda’s home – The Child.  As far as the cast is concerned, Michael Biehn will be seen as a bounty hunter. Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, the former Jedi Padawan of Anakin Skywalker turned spymaster for the Rebel Alliance. Temuera Morrison will play as Boba Fett as a notorious bounty hunter utilizing Mandalorian equipment who seemingly died in Return of the Jedi.

Deadline reported that the makers have hinted a lot of the highly popular characters from the Skywalker’s films, will also make appearances in the series. Now that should be more than enough reason to expect more entertainment from the series 2. 

Trailers are expected to be out soon and the production will also be announcing the premiere date for October. We can certainly say that fans would be overly excited to see Baby Yoda getting raised and its childhood when The Mandalorian Series 2 returns in October.
