RELEASE DATE
The creator of the show Amy Sherman-Palladino recently announced at the virtual Woodstock Film Festival that production will start in January 2021 and right now the script of season 4 is being written whose actor reading will happen in December 2020. She further added that it will take approximately four to five months to complete production. Thus it is safe to say that the season will release either in late 2021 or in early 2022.
THE CAST
Rachel Brosnahan will re-appear as Miriam “Midge” Maisel. Others in the cast include Alex Borstein as Susie Myerson, Michael Zegen as Joel Maisel, and Jane Lynch as Sophie, Marin Hinkle as Rose Weissman, Kevin Pollak as Moishe Maisel, and Caroline Aaron as Shirley Maisel.
THE PLOT
The story will be continued from the point it was left off at season 3. The story will jump ahead in time for season 4. More visual effects have been planned for season 4. The basic story of the series is about one Miriam “Midge” Maisel who is a Jewish woman. She is a budding comedian at a time when woman comedians were non-existent. In the series, she leaves her job to chase her dream of becoming a comedian and thus begins the adventure of her life.
