The Matrix is a fiction-based action film. The American series consists of a trilogy beginning with The Matrix in the year 1999 and continuing with two sequels and the fourth one about to be released. The Matrix Reloaded and the Matrix Revolutions are all written and directed by the Wachowskis and Joel silver has produced the films.
The distribution of the films is done by Warner Bros along with Village Road show Pictures. The fourth Installment of the movie is directed by Lana Wachowski and produced by Wachowski and Grant Hill. The screenplay is written by Lana Wachowski with Aleksandrar Hemon and David Mitchell. The Movie is set in the locations of United States of America.
CAST :
Although many would reprise their roles not all the main actors from the previous ones are returning. Smith is out of the story because of Weaving’s conflict in the schedule. It is expected that Matrix 4 will introduce few new actors though the casting of the Movie is kept under wraps and no confirmation is made about it so far.Yahya Abdul Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Neil Patrick Harris , Jonathan Groff with Priyanka chopra are all confirmed to appear in the fourth installment with Keanu Reeves as Thomas A. Anderson/Neo Jada Pinkett smith as Niobe.
EXPECTED STORYLINE:
The fourth installment could be the sequel to the previous season which was released in 2003. In Matrix, anything can happen and hence Neo and trinity who had died in the end of the previous film is expected back with a new theory of life. There is also a speculation that Neil’s character could be that of an agent thereby making him an enemy to Neo and Trinity.
WHAT COULD MATRIX 4 BE NAMED AS?
Warners have been revealing different titles for all the previous installments of the movie. There was no numbering for any of the sequels so far in this movie. Part 2 was titled as The Matrix Reloaded and part 3 as The Matrix revolutions so it is presumed that the fourth installment would follow similarly and could be titled as The Matrix Reborn.
RELEASE DATE:
Though the filming has stopped due to the covid pandemic the fans are highly thrilled and excited as the schedule date of release is announced. It is said that the movie would hit the shelves by May 2021 which is just a few months wait and it is worth the wait.
