An American fantastic science-fiction action film named The Matrix, is now moving towards its fourth installment, scripted and directed by the same sisters who scripted the previous three films of this franchise, Lana Wachowski and Lily Wachowski.

The series feature a dystopian futuristic story of the technological fall of mankind, in which creations of AI led the way of self-aware machines that imprisoned mankind in a system called The Matrix. It is a science technological film which correlates the relationship of mankind with technology.
What about Airing!
First show of this blockbusting movie was premiered on 31 March 1999 and it was well-received by many critics and won four Academy Awards. After the huge success of first installment, director released two sequels within one year named.
The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions on 15 May and 5 November in 2003. After the grand gap of 16 years, directors decided to produce its fourth sequel in 2019 and unfortunately the pandemic came which directly delays the fourth installment by one year as initially the film was set to release on 21 May 2021 but was postponed to 1 April 2022, which is quite far!
How does the Production Pause Affected Yahya Abdul Mateen 2!
As you all know production of each and every show was paused for some time due to Corona Virus and similarly production of The Matrix 4, also take a pause, but this pause affects the Watchmen and Aquaman co-star Yahya Abdul Mateen 2.
When the reporters asked him about his role in the upcoming dramas, he explained how the temporary shut down affected him. Sometimes delays benefits the creatives.
What about Casting!
As the 4th sequel took a long gap of sixteen years, so there will be definitely some alterations in casting. Keanu Reeves as Neo, Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity, Jada Pinkett Smith as Niobe, Daniel Bernhardt as Agent Johnson.
Even there are some actors who will be seen in the forthcoming film but their role are still wrapper in box . Yahya Abdul-Mateen 2, Neil Patrick Harris, Jonathan Groff, Max Riemelt, Andrew Caldwell and Brian J. Smith are the secretive actors.
