Plimsoll Productions’ (Night On Earth) nature series Animal will launch on Netflix on November 10. A mother lioness, a family of wild canines, a kangaroo joey, and a newborn giant pacific octopus are among the eight natural universe families depicted in the series.
Each installment, according with streamer, will include a high-profile narrator who will bring the themes to life. Bryan Cranston, Rashida Jones, Rebel Wilson, and Pedro Pascal are among them.
Because the project was almost entirely shot during the pandemic, the crew depended on local camera operators to film in countries that would otherwise be inaccessible due to travel restrictions.
Netflix has already approved the show’s second season, which will include narrators such as Andy Serkis, Anthony Mackie, David Harbour, and Uzo Aduba, and also an concentration on dolphins, bears, birds of prey, and primates. In 2022, another series will premiere.
The series is produced by Plimsoll’s Anuschka Schofield, Adrian Seymour, Alex Minton, and Rob Morgan. Martha Holmes and Tom Hugh-Jones serve as Executive Producers, with Bill Markham acting as Series Producer.
The Line Producer is Frances Casey, while the Production Managers are Stella Stylianos and Rachel Norman.
