An American horror drama web television series, The Order is created by Dennis Heaton. The screenplay is written by Dennis Heatoneaton, Shelley Eriksen, Rachel Langer, Jennica Harper, Penny Gummerson, and Jason Filiatrault.
This Supernatural horror drama was released by Nomadic Pictures with Netflix as their original network. The first season was premiered on Netflix March 7, 2019, and was a 10-episode series that received great reviews by the fans as they saw some fresh inputs on old takes like ware wolves, magic, secret societies, and much more.
The makers recently aired the Season 2 which was recently released on Netflix on June 19, 2020. It picks up from where season 1 left off. The series did come up to the expectations of the fans and we can certainly say that it was a joyride for them.
Since the series is gaining much-deserved popularity with season 2 barely released a week back, it is too early to ask for a season 3. If at all that happens, it will be purely dependent on the success of the current season. It everything sets in right fans can expect the season 3 coming up not before June 2021.
The series circles around the character named jack as he joins a magical secret society called the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose. This society is known for teaching and practicing magic. As Jack spends more time and dives deep into the organization’s history, he finds out the dark family secrets and battles between the Werewolves and the Magical dark Ants.
The cast included Jake Manley as jack Morton and Sarah Grey as Alyssa Drake in leading roles. In Season 2, Sarah was mauled by Gabrielle while he was in his Warewolf form. She was slashed and wounded and was carried into the woods by Jake. Only season 3 will let us know if Sarah’s character stays or no.
