In an official announcement, Universal Pictures has announced a release date for Fast & Furious 10. After the release of Fast & Furious 11, a two-part finale to the franchise’s major story will be released. The Fast and the Furious, starring Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and the late Paul Walker, was the first installment in the blockbuster action series.
An LAPD officer goes undercover among street racers in the first Fast & Furious film, which has since grown into a big spectacle centered on high-budget action scenes, spectacular stunts, and international bank robberies, among other things. One of the most ludicrous (and fan-favourite) events in F9 was when cars were hurled into space.
Helen Mirren and Gal Gadot have appeared in the films, as have Dwayne Johnson and Charlize Theron. Fast & Furious will be the last film in the series. Justin Lin, who has worked on a number of other Fast projects, will be directing the two final features. This year, Lin filmed the two parts back-to-back in order to shorten the gap between their publication dates.
Part one of Fast & Furious 10 will be released on April 7, 2023, according to Entertainment Weekly. In Fast 10, characters such as Dominic Toretto (Diesel), Letty Ortiz (Rodriguez), and Han Lue (Kang) are expected to return. Agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) will not appear, as he has previously confirmed that he will not be appearing in the remaining flicks, according to Johnson’s announcement.
Following a previously announced back-to-back filming schedule for Fast 10 and Fast 11, a Fast 10 release in April could suggest that Fast 11 will be released the same year as Fast 10. When it does come out, the finale is likely to be a movie office smash. Fast & Furious became one of the most successful franchises in history as Furious 7 became the first Fast movie to gross a billion dollars worldwide.
Fast 10 and Fast 11 are yet to be released, although Diesel has hinted that the flicks will contain a lot of action. F9’s outer space scene and trucks tossed around by gigantic magnets have already topped previous Fast films’ stunts, so fans are expecting some intense (and presumably strange) action before Fast 10’s release. After all, each new installment has a reputation of surprising and delighting audiences.
