A whole year has passed since the production of season 2 of Witcher has started. It was a year ago when season 2 started production. Since then one thing or the other has affected and delayed the production. Let’s look at what the show creator Lauren Schmidt has to say on this.

REASON BEHIND THE DELAY

Lauren posted a post on twitter in which she said that it seems like just yesterday they started the production. She admitted that a lot has changed since the last year the Covid 19 pandemic changed everything on the set. She continued that apart from this the show star Henry Cavill injured his leg and this further delayed the production. Recently she got news from him that he was recovering slowly and would come back to the set as soon as possible. Lauren added that she feels blessed that despite all of this they continued production and actually enjoyed this long shoot. Finally she concluded by saying that everyone was working round the clock to ensure that the fans get to see Witcher season 2 as soon as possible.

We hope that Henry gets well soon he returns at the set probably by March. The production will end by the end of March and we get to see Witcher season 2 during the first half of April. That’s all the update we got for Witcher season 2. Join us again for more news and gossips from the world of entertainment.
