Shazam is a DC comic character superhero movie with a box office success of $366 million
worldwide. The movie was released on 5th April 2019 and was distributed by Warner Bros.
With 90% rotten tomato reviews, Shazam has received a huge of applaud for its comic role
and sense of humor.
It is full of entertainment with a lot of action. Fans are even waiting for the sequel as at the
end of Shazam, it left a mystery for its audience. In December 2019, New Line Cinema announced that the sequel of Shazam will be released on 1st April 2022. After the COVID-19 pandemic situation, many movies were shifted to later dates like this one. On 20th April 2020, it was announced that Shazam 2 will be also delayed to 4th November 2022. All the shootings are on a dead stop and they are not able to complete any scene hence there is no trailer as well for this movie by now.
The cast of Shazam 2:
There will not be much of a change in the lead cast of Shazam 2, but yes we are expecting
some new faces to join the cast as per the twists and turns planned for its plotting.
Even there was a rumor about Black Adam who will be seen in the sequel of Shazam 2. Black Adam’s role will be portrayed by Rock. However, Black Adam as a movie will be releasing on 22nd December 2021 as a completely different movie than this one.

Shazam 2 storyline is around a teenage boy Billy Batson, who has been chosen by an old
wizard Shazam as his champion and he transfers his superpowers to Billy. Due to which Billy can transform himself into an adult superhero to protect the city from the evil deeds.
Billy and his friends had discovered Billy’s superpower to defeat Dr. Thaddeus and the seven deadly sins. Billy with his siblings are able to defeat the evil and in turn, all of them receive some superpowers. The movie has ended with a mid-credit scene where Sivana was approached by a talking caterpillar. The caterpillar is Mister's mind. Shazam movie is very close to the comic book. It will be seen in the sequel that Mister Mind and Dr. Sivana will team-up together to achieve their
goal against Shazam.
Shazam 2 will be all about a caterpillar AKA Mister Mind again rising to destroy the world.
We will be able to see how Billy and his friends will stand up against it and fight the evil.
