A new crime action heist movie, Shelter, is joining forces with OC actor Cam Gigandet and Station 19 star Jaina Lee Ortiz.
The two are also accompanied by Lisa Vidal from Grey’s Anatomy, Carlos Miranda from Bosch and Sasha Merci from De Lo Mio on the ensemble.
Reporters says Shelter will focus on the head of a secret organisation that gets a team of people together to steal Nazi multimillionaire art, which plundered the precious material during the Second World War.
Shine director Anthony Nardolillo directed the film, and Michael Corcoran wrote the narrative. Shelter is in pre-production and is shortly to start filming in Los Angeles.
Jolene Rodriguez, one of the film’s producers, said she is “I’ve followed many of their careers and doing a film with them is such a joy. I’ve been happy to work with such a great bunch. Shelter is a good example of how to take and include any script. It takes effort, but it can and it is important.”
In the first movie Twilight, Gigandé is recognised for his performance in The OC, as Kevin Volchok, and in the Netflix Dangerous Lies film Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse. He has also been the most recent actor of Amazon Original.
, as Lt Andrea ‘Andy’ Herrera along with three episodes of Grey’s Anatomy. She also appears in the Fox series of Rosewood as Detective Annalise Villa.
Vidal joined Grey’s Anatomy lately as Dr Alma Ortiz and The Baker and the Beauty, Rosewood and Being Mary Jane. Also, in Station 19, Miranda played Theo Ruiz and earlier played in Bosch, Vida and Ana.
Merci is well recognised for her performance in the film HBO De Lo Mio that follows two sisters from the village of New York who are gathered together with their alien brother from the Dominican Republic after the death of their father.
Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 airs on ABC in the United States. They appear on Sky Witness in the UK, with selected episodes on NOW and Disney+.
